Wednesday, Jan. 5th: ATHENS: Philopappos Monument (Hill of the Muses), Monument of Lysikrates,
Hadrian's Arch, Temple of Olympian Zeus, National Gardens and Licavittos.
Group Dinner for traditional Athenian dishes at Karavitis Taverna, Pangrati


Thursday, Jan. 6th: ATHENS: Pnyx, Akropolis, Theatre of Dionysos, Akropolis Museum

Friday, Jan. 7th: ATHENS: Kerameikos, Athenian Agora, Roman Agora.

Saturday, Jan. 8th: ATHENS-PIREAUS-AIGINA: Pireaus Archaeological Museum. Ferry to the
island of Aigina. Harbor and site of Ancient Aigina. Temple of Athena Aphaia,
Byzantine town of Palaiochora. Group lunch at Taverna “Maridaki” for traditional
seafood dishes.

Sunday, Jan.9th: ATHENS-ATTIKA: Marathon, Brauron, Thorikos, Cape Sounion, Temple of
Poseidon. Group dinner in Voula for traditional Attic country dishes.

Monday , Jan.10th: ATHENS-CRETE. National Archeological Museum. Overnight ferry to Crete.

Tuesday, Jan.11th: HERAKLION. Morning arrival in Crete. Heraklion Museum, Knossos, Vathypetro,
Group lunch in mountain village of Archanes, for rustic Cretan dishes. Group dinner and
nightclub visit for local Cretan music and dancing.

Wednesday, Jan. 12th: HERAKLION: Roman and Archaic Gortys, Minoan Phaistos, Archaic Aghia
Triada, and Roman Matala.
Group dinner in Heraklion for traditional Cretan dishes.

Thursday, Jan.13th: HERAKLION-RETHYMNON–CHANIA: Minoan Villa at Tylissos, Venetian
Rethymnon. Kanakis Olive Centre. Old town of Chania. Overnight ferry to Piraeus.

Friday, Jan.14th: ATHENS. EXAM 1. Free day to visit any museums on your own.
Recommendations: War Museum, Byzantine Museum, and Benaki Museum

Saturday, Jan.15th: ATHENS –NAUPLION: Eleusis, Ancient Corinth, Classical and Crusader Kastro
of Akrokorinthos.

Sunday, Jan.16th: NAUPLION: Lerna (House of the Tiles), Argos, Nemea.

Monday, Jan.17th: NAUPLION-MYCENAE. Mycenae, Tiryns, Byzantine/Venetian Kastro of
Palamidi.

Tuesday, Jan.18th: NAUPLION-EPIDAURUS. Nauplion Archaeological Museum, Mycenaean bridge
and highway, Epidaurus (Asclepius Sanctuary and theatre)

Wednesday, Jan.19th: NAUPLION-MONEMVASIA: Tegea, Temple of Athena Alea and Tegea
Archaeological Museum. Group dinner for traditional dishes of the Mani.

Thursday, Jan.20th: MONEMVASIA-SPARTA: Byzantine Churches and Kastro of Monemvasia,
Perioikic town of Epidauros Limera. Group dinner.

Friday, Jan.21st: SPARTA: Sparta Museum, Byzantine capital of Mistras. Group lunch in Mistras
for traditional Spartan dishes. Spartan Akropolis, Theatre, Temple of Artemis
Orthia and Eurotas River. Group dinner.


Saturday, Jan.22nd: SPARTA-PYLOS: Classical and Hellenistic Messini. Group lunch in Messini for

traditional Messenian dishes, Venetian Kastro of Methoni. Group dinner.

Sunday, Jan.23rd: PYLOS-OLYMPIA:, Nestor's Palace, Chora Museum. Group dinner.

Monday, Jan.24th: OLYMPIA: Ancient Olympia site and museum. History of Olympic Games
Museum. Group Dinner.

Tuesday, Jan.25th: OLYMPIA-PREVEZA: Messolongi, Greek Independence Monument and Garden
of the Heroon (memorial for Lord Byron). Group lunch for traditional seafood
dishes. Group dinner for traditional Ambracian dishes.

Wednesday, Jan.26th: PREVEZA-DELPHI: Roman and Byzantine Nikopolis, Nikopolis Museum.

Thursday, Jan 27th: DELPHI: Archaeological site and Museum. Osios Loukas Byzantine monastery.

Friday, Jan 28h: DELPHI-ATHENS: Thermopylai

Saturday, Jan 29th: ATHENS. EXAM 2. Free day to visit any museums on your own.
Group Dinner at Gerou tou Moria, Plaka with folk-dancing and traditional music.

Sunday, Jan 30th: ATHENS –USA.
